Wataire Industries Inc. Clarification to January 17, 2006 Release
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wataire Industries Inc. (Pink Sheets:WTAF) is pleased to announce that the notice of special meeting and proxies have been forwarded to all Shareholders, and would like to encourage all shareholders to complete and return them for the special meeting to be held on March 24, 2006, for the purpose of determining if there is approval of the Board Resolution, announced January, 17, 2006, to declare a two for one forward stock split. If approved, all Shareholders of Record up to and including March 24, 2006, will participate in the forward split, and the Company's Transfer Agent will be instructed to print and deliver the additional Share Certificates.

Occidental and BP to Evaluate CO2 Sequestration Options for California
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) announced today that the company is in discussions with BP (NYSE:BP) to develop options for sequestering carbon dioxide (CO2) in its California oil fields. The CO2 would be captured as a byproduct from the 500 MW hydrogen-fired power project proposed to be constructed in Carson, California as a joint venture between BP and Edison Mission Group, a unit of Edison International (NYSE:EIX). Removing the CO2, a greenhouse gas, from the energy generation process would make this one of the world's cleanest power generation plants.
