Dobson Communications Shareholders Authorize Additional Shares of Stock
OKLAHOMA CITY, July 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dobson Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:DCEL) today concluded its 2005 Annual Shareholders Meeting in Oklahoma City. The Company's shareholders approved the proposed amendment of Dobson's Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation to authorize 150 million additional shares of Class A common stock, from 175 million shares to a total of 325 million shares, and to un-designate 40,000 shares of preferred stock, previously designated as Series E preferred stock, all of which are unissued.
