Telenor Technology Services acquired by Jabil Global Services

The services operation will be integrated into Jabil Global Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jabil Circuit, Inc., a leading electronics manufacturing service provider. Jabil operates facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, provides Jabil with a European repair facility for its customers and extends its global reach.

Leiv Svenning, Regional Vice-President, Telenor International Centre, indicated that the acquisition offers growth possibilities for the employees and management. The electronic manufacturing services industry is rapidly expanding, as is the repair service component.

Jabil Global Circuit President, Allen Braswell said: “The acquisition of TTS is a major development for us, as it brings on-board a proven team of people who have developed a capability to provide specialised repair services to some of the major companies in the network market. These customers are also customers of Jabil Circuit, so it is a great opportunity to extend our relationship with them.”
