B4U Movies daily airs at least five Indian films, film based programmes, music videos and other entertaining and informative programmes including soap operas. B4U Music features film music, music videos and music-related programs. As the name suggests, all B4U programming is produced in Bollywood, India’s equivalent to Hollywood, which churns out more movies and television programmes than anywhere else in the world.
As with its other channels, ColourSat plans to transmit B4U Movies and B4U Music through a variety of distribution channels, including cable operators, direct-to-home, SMATV and to other market segments. Beginning next month, the channels will be transmitted via Telenor’s satellites at 1 degree West.
ColourSat distributes a number of channels, including the Pakistani Prime TV, Russia’s ORT International and various Scandinavian channels. Since its launch in 1998, the business unit has worked to rapidly build a strong blend of ethnic and thematic infotainment, which is broadcast throughout Europe.
