Nokia at CeBIT 2002

Nokia will be addressing topical issues and presenting exciting new solutions and innovations for consumers, corporate customers and operators at CeBIT 2002 in Hanover, Germany (March 13-20). Demonstrations will take place in Hall 26, at stands E68/F72.

The Nokia press conference will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 12 CET at the CeBIT Convention Center in room 3A. The press conference will also be webcast at www.nokia.com/cebit2002. Speakers will be: Matti Alahuhta, President, Nokia Mobile Phones and Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President, Nokia Mobile Phones

Nokia will showcase exciting new mobile terminals and network solutions, including attractive solutions for broadband DSL networks. One of the key topics this year will be MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), The evolution from text messaging to multimedia messaging marks the beginning of a whole new era of mobile communications, combining text with images and sound.

Key enablers for mobile services, such as mobile payment, device management and the Series 60 software platform will also be presented at the Nokia stand. In addition, Nokia will demo compelling new services together with application developers.

Club Nokia, Nokia's online community offering terminal optimized digital services for Nokia phone owners, will demo fun, new services that take full advantage of mobile technologies and help Nokia mobile phone users to get the most out of their phones. The demos will include Club Nokia Photo Zone for mobile imaging, cool new applications and services for mobile games, as well as exciting new music features.
