Release: before opening of Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris
A number of press articles and analyst commentaries have appeared speculating that Eurocommercial Properties N.V. ("ECP") has been selected as the preferred bidder for the City of Stockholm's € 1 billion CentrumKompaniet portfolio of ten shopping centres with adjoining apartment blocks and office buildings.
ECP was indeed one of the chosen four final bidders for the portfolio but was not selected as the buyer, who is expected to sign a purchase contract on 10 May.
ECP is, however, acquiring two other smaller retail properties in Sweden, details of which will be announced with the Company's third quarter results on 11 May.
