Holding of treasury shares increased

Pursuant to section 28 of the Danish Securities Trading Act we hereby announce
that since the most recent “Section 28 report”, Alm. Brand A/S and its
subsidiaries have increased their holding of own shares to 923,416, equivalent
to 5.00% of the share capital in Alm. Brand A/S. 

The most recent report on Alm. Brand A/S and its subsidiaries' holding of own
shares was dated 14 August 2008 and was for 726,891 shares, equal to 3.94% of
the share capital.
