Ulrik Steinvik is appointed new CFO in SalMar ASA, effective from 1 March 2012.
Mr. Steinvik is 37 years old and holds today the position as Head of Finance and Accounting at SalMar ASA, a position he has held since May 2006. Mr. Steinvik is therefore very familiar with both SalMar and the salmon farming industry.
Mr. Steinvik is Norwegian state authorized public accountant after attending the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen, Norway. Mr. Steinvik has previously worked for chartered accountants Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in Trondheim, Norway.
An IR-director will be hired to support the CFO and strengthen SalMar's efforts within the IR area.
