On 10 February 2014, a contract was signed by SIA Merks – part of AS Merko Ehitus group – and Riga City Council City Development Department to perform the re-cultivation and construction works of waste recycling site at A. Deglava Street, Riga, Latvia.
The scope of works includes technical design, landfill re-cultivation and construction works. Land plot with the total area of 19 300 m² will be purified as part of the project.
The contract value is 6.5 million euros, plus value added tax. The works are to start in February 2014 and scheduled for completion in January 2016.
