Dow Jones Indexes Adjusts its Global Indexes
NEW YORK, Dec. 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Index, Dow Jones World Index and Dow Jones Asia/Pacific -- South Asia Index will be adjusted to reflect the Taiwan government's restriction of 75% on foreign investment. This change in Taiwan's investment rules increases the country's weighting by free-float market capitalization in each of the three Dow Jones indexes.
Harsco Acquires Northern Hemisphere Mill Services Operations from Brambles
HARRISBURG, Pa., Dec. 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Worldwide industrial services and products company Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) announced today it has completed the acquisition of the Northern Hemisphere steel mill services operations of Brambles Industrial Services (BIS), a unit of Sydney, Australia-based Brambles Industries Limited. The Company paid GBP133 million (approximately $229 million) plus a working capital adjustment for the business, and is proceeding with the appropriate regulatory filings. The acquisition, made on a cash free/debt free basis, is expected to be accretive to Harsco's 2006 earnings.

Medicare Rx Access Network of New York Reminds New Yorkers Deadline Quickly Approaching
SYRACUSE, N.Y., Dec. 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Medicare Rx Access Network of New York is reminding all New Yorkers today that the deadline to sign up for the Medicare prescription drug benefit in order to receive coverage starting January 1, 2006, is quickly approaching. All beneficiaries that are eligible for Medicare Part D and would like coverage to start on January 1st, 2006, need to sign up for the benefit by Saturday, December 31, 2005. According to Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt, more than 21 million seniors and people with disabilities will get prescription drug coverage as of January 1, 2006. The number includes more than one million Americans who signed up for the new stand-alone coverage in the first month it was offered to potential beneficiaries. Another 500,000 are expected to be enrolled by the first of the year.
