Globix Corporation Completes Offer to Purchase $40 million of its Senior Notes
NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Globix Corporation (OTCBB:GBXX), a leading provider of managed Internet applications and infrastructure services, today announced it had received the tender of $97,956,711 in principal amount of its 11% Senior Notes due 2008 ("Notes"). Under the terms of the offer, Globix will purchase $40,274,000 of the tendered, outstanding Notes for cash at par plus accrued interest. This offer is being funded with a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of its property located at 415 Greenwich Street in New York, New York which closed on January 22, 2004. In that the value of tendered bonds exceeded the offer to purchase, the purchase will be conducted on a pro-rata basis. Replacement notes will be issued to tendering noteholders for the balance of their unpurchased notes, where necessary.

Hexagon Acquires Sheffield's U.S. Metrology Operations
NACKA STRAND, Sweden, Feb. 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hexagon has signed an agreement to acquire the metrology operations of the U.S.-based company Sheffield Automation LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary within the ThyssenKrupp Group. Hexagon will operate the business through a new company -- Sheffield Measurement Inc. The initial turnover is estimated to amount to approx. 17 MUSD, consisting of sales of measuring machines and related services. Sheffield Measurement Inc. will initially employ some 85 people.
